Happy New Year, Moonrays!
Yes, I know it’s been a LONG while since I showed up here. And while I could make up a hundred excuses, all of them true, it wouldn’t really change that. The bottom line of it all is that I have been in a severe writing slump, and unable to focus on anything other than my bigger projects, and even those only in short bursts every now and then. I had a complete creative burnout, and I am only recently starting to come out of that slump.
That being said, now that I feel like I can, I have a plan for getting my writing back on track, and that is using Writing Prompts. I have a vast collection spread out… well… everywhere, and I might as well use them. So my plan for 2026 is to write for one prompt every day. I might not completely succeed, but if I can get a few done each week, that is still a good thing. And to keep myself accountable for this goal, I will be choosing my favourite of the week and post it here every Wednesday, starting on January 7th.
As I get my groove back, I might branch out to other things here as well, but I am starting by planning slow and we’ll see how it pans out as time goes on.
Concerning my ongoing playthrough of The Great and Secret Game that I was posting here; The final post will be coming during January! But it will be the last entry in Kit’s story, because I did pull the final King, which ends the game. The ending has been giving me trouble, but I have tinkered with it on and off, and know what I will be doing with it. It doesn’t sit right with me to leave it unfinished, so the final Day will be posted as soon as I finish getting it down.
